Curriculum

Grade I to V

The 7i World School believes young minds develop best when the focus is on the conceptual learning of children, rather than the traditional content learning methodology. In the experiential learning curriculum followed by the school, the concepts are taught through hands-on experimentation followed by questioning, application and feedback. This replaces the one-step ‘telling’ and memorization followed in many traditional classrooms.

Once the concepts are clear the learning is fun and retention is for life time. The facilitator simply provides a support, a guiding hand and then the children are encouraged to think, to experience and learn on own, at their own pace. This inculcates flair to attain knowledge which is relevant to them.

Grade VI to X

The School follows an experience-based CBSE curriculum in classes VI - X. The curriculum ensures that learning requirements prescribed by NCERT and CBSE are met. Incorporating the essentials of CBSE board and the National Curriculum Framework, the curriculum places the child at the centre. To reduce the stress in the learning process, enhance learning potentials, and to build the ability to be original, the school provides an environment where the child feels free to ask questions, speak up their point of view, complete work on their own, solve problems and score well. Teachers use e-learning modules to further strengthen the understanding of complex concepts. Our children are confident and ready with skills required for higher studies and flourishing career.

"FOR THE THINGS WE HAVE TO LEARN,
BEFORE WE CAN DO THEM,
WE LEARN BY DOING THEM"
