Students of 7i world school Shivpuri Link Road, of grade 9th and 10th got the opportunity to visit Cancer Hospital and Research Institute . It was a very valuable learning experience for the students.
• All the students visited the hospital, wards of patients,OPD,IPD, Radiology department,etc and learnt about various mechanisms used, to treat the cancer patients.
• The students were made aware about the CPR(Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation).The students practiced the procedure of giving CPR to a dummy body
• During the session the students learnt about various types of cancers and their four stages with complexity and their treatments.
• All the students also got the chance to exhibit their creativity through a painting competition, wher everyone painted on the mask.The director of CHRI elaborated about the role that we can play to prevent cancer.
At the end of the session, students asked their queries regarding the disease and it's reasons and got satisfactory answers from knowledgeable minds.
